LISTERIOSIS FREE – we have had our milk and our associated products tested for Listeria in April 2018 – and we are happy to report that all these tests have been negative.

Furthermore, please reassure your customers that the dairy herd that we source our raw unhomogenised milk from (to make all our products) remains TB (Tuberculosis) and CA (Contagious Abortion) free. The herd is tested annually and we are happy to send through the relevant certificates if necessary.

Is Organic Milk the Answer?

A team of experts from Newcastle University in the United Kingdom analysed nearly 200 peer-reviewed studies on milk and determined that organic milk contains 50% more beneficial omega-3 fatty acids than conventional milk.

The report entitled “A New Evaluation of Nutritional Difference Milk”, shows that half a litre of organic milk offers about 16% of one’s recommended daily intake of long-chain omega-3 fatty acids, while conventional milk offers only 11%. The higher levels of omega-3s in organic milk are linked to cows grazing outdoors and receiving low-concentrate feeds.

The milk we use in all our products is CERTIFIED A GRADE RAW MILK. The milk comes from an accredited herd which is routinely tested for Tuberculosis and Brucellosis.The herd is TB and CA Free.
